Guntur
Guntur is a city and administrative headquarters of Guntur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipal corporation and also the headquarters of Guntur mandal in Guntur revenue division. It is situated on the plains at a distance of 40 miles (64 km) to north of the Bay of Bengal. Guntur district is emerging as a solar power house with the government and private establishments showing keen interest in tapping the solar power.
